What we do during an inspection:
Your home inspector will inspect the residence from top to bottom, inside and out. They’ll check the plumbing, roof, foundation, electrical system, attic, HVAC, fixtures and numerous other items. Limitations include what’s hidden and inaccessible, such as the flooring underneath the carpet and anything inside walls.
The whole goal of the inspection is to identify deficiencies that put you and your family at risk and give you a report that lists them.
The goal of the home inspection is to recognize any problems within the house that you’re not willing to accept. When you make an offer to buy a home, the offer should be contingent upon a successful home inspection.
A General Home Inspection is not designed to identify building code violations, although some deficiencies identified may also be code violations.
